Women are just as attracted to younger partners as men are, says a new study. The University of California study of 4,500 people seeking a long-term partner found that both men and women are drawn to younger people of the opposite sex — whether or not they realize it. In the analysis, it was found that following a blind date, test participants indicated they were slightly more attracted to younger partners, “and the trend was equally true for men and women.” The study sampled daters ranging in age from 22-85.

Did you know it’s illegal to feed pigeons on the sidewalks and streets of San Francisco? Sure, a sprinkle of breadcrumbs to feed hungry birds may seem harmless but in the popular Californian city, you could get into trouble. San Francisco's Public Works Department explains this law is in place because there "are dozens of reasons why" you shouldn't feed your new pigeon friends, "but mainly: feeding pigeons harm our neighborhoods and also harms the birds."

NBC is making a change to its judges table for the upcoming 20th season of “America’s Got Talent”. Heidi Klum, who has been on the show for 11 of the past 12 seasons, is leaving. Her seat will be taken by Mel B, who served as a judge alongside Klum for Seasons 8-13. Mel B will join returning judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. Also back is host Terry Crews. Season 20 is set to premiere May 27. It was announced last week that Klum is returning to “Project Runway”.

Universal has unveiled the trailer for “Jurassic World Rebirth.” It’ll be the 7th film in the 31-year-old movie franchise. The official synopsis says that 5 years after “Jurassic World Dominion”, “an expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from 3 massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough.” Scarlett Johansson plays ‘Zora’ an operations expert leading the expedition, who ends up stranded with a civilian family. The cast also includes Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, and Mahershala Ali. The film is set for theatrical release on July 2. LINK: https://tinyurl.com/3s6fm4xy

“The Amazing Race” just got bigger. For the show’s Season 37, it’ll start with a record 14 teams — after expanding to 13 teams the past 2 seasons. This comes comes as part of what CBS is calling a “season of surprises” for The Amazing Race, with “game-changing twists” each episode. Besides the show’s staple “fast foward” and “U-turns” other elements will make a comeback. And new this season will be a “fork in the road,” beginning with the first leg in Hong Kong, where teams “will have to choose which direction and route they want to take to the pit stop, creating parallel races where 2 teams will be eliminated.” Season 37 debuts on March 5.

Research shows that seeing your friends’ vacations, love lives, and work successes on Facebook can cause envy, and trigger feelings of misery and loneliness.

Scientists say they have found what could be a cure for gray hair – and it’s all-natural. Researchers in Japan have identified luteolin, an antioxidant found in vegetables, as being a potential anti-graying agent. They were conducting an experiment where they focused on 3 different antioxidants, to assess their anti-graying effects in mice that were bred to go gray similar to the way humans do. They say the effect of luteolin was “startling”. The mice that received the stuff retained their black fur, even as their cage mates’ fur turned gray, regardless of whether the luteolin was given externally or internally. So, where can you get some? It is found in celery, broccoli, carrots, onions, and peppers. It is also available as a supplement for topical and oral use, making it a candidate for further development as an anti-graying treatment.

The latest ski trend is to go the wrong way. “Uphilling” the laborious process of ascending a ski hill along the side of a trail, while wearing skis, is booming at US ski resorts. Why? It’s attracting skiers in search of a good workout with the added bonus of fresh air, fresh tracks, and on-mountain camaraderie. At some ski resorts, uphill skiing access is allowed only before and after regular operating hours, while others allow it during operating hours. Proponents of the practice say it not only provides a great workout, it’s fun, and provides a sense of accomplishment.

RESTAURANT HACKS: (Day 1 of 2)

Recently, the BuzzFeed community was asked to share their hacks for saving money when they’re out to eat. Here are some of the best – and most creative – things that respondents said they do to save a buck or two…

→ “I’m a big fan of ordering (from a place that gives) large portions that I know will leave me with leftovers. Spending $18 on a meal feels better when I can get 3 meals out of it.”

→ “My husband and I often get sampler platters of things and split them. At a well-known ‘Italian’ place they have one entree that is essentially 3 smaller entrees.”

→ “I hardly ever drink water with meals at home, but at restaurants, it’s all I’ll get. I cannot…justify paying $3.75 for a glass of Pepsi when I could go buy a 2 liter of it for $1.”

→ “DO NOT GET ALCOHOL. That stuff is so (darn) expensive.

→ “When it comes to sides, if you want a salad, and it’s offered as a side, get that! If you still want potatoes or something, get that as an extra side, it’s usually much cheaper than a side salad.”

→ “Try something new and be willing to spend money on something you might not like instead of buying a plain pizza/pasta you could make at home for a fraction of the price.” (Speak for yourself!)

→ “Split your meal with your dinner companion! Oftentimes, they will bring you 2 separate plates…If you’re still hungry…you can order more. You can even split a beer.” (Congrats. You’re my grandparents!)

→ “Eat out during lunch rather than dinner. Oftentimes, restaurants will charge a premium for dinner.
