Dear John
My wife and I are getting divorced because she had an affair. We have two daughters. They are 12 and 17. I know they will ask why we're getting divorced, do we tell them the truth, or are they not ready for that at their age? My parent are still together after 40 years. My wife's parents are still together after 30 years. This will be the first divorce in both of our families. Part of me wants to let them know, so they're not upset with me over this. But I also don't want them to hate my wife either. I'm upset that she did what she did, but I still love her and she is a wonderful mother. What do you think? Any advice on this one?

As “The Simpsons” prepares to launch its Season 36 this fall, Fox won’t be the only place to catch new episodes. The executive producers behind the show have revealed that 4 new episodes will exclusively air on Disney+. They include a new Christmas-themed 2-parter, “O Come All Ye Faithful,” premiering Dec. 17 — the 35th anniversary of the very first Simpsons episode, the similarly-themed “Simpsons Roasting Over An Open Fire”. The other 2 episodes, titled “The Past and the Furious” and “Yellow Planet” will air in the “months ahead,” Disney+ said.

Dubai, already the home of the world’s tallest building, the deepest pool and the highest hotel, now hopes to add the world’s “greenest” highway. Urban design firm URB has released designs for a 64km-long road that would see one of the city’s main traffic belts transformed into a “Green Spine,” complete with autonomous, solar-powered trams and smart traffic management. Above the tram line, a network of green areas, parks and overpasses would increase connectivity and walkability of the city. The highway would also integrate smart technology to manage traffic and optimize energy use. 300-megawatt solar panels embedded in the tracks would power the tram line, plus generate clean energy for 130,000 homes. The green spaces will house one million trees, helping cool the city, and improve air quality.

The treat is made by adding sweetened condensed milk to a base of Vietnamese coffee. It is then topped with salted cream, and served hot or iced. The drink’s inventors, at a no-frills café in the city of Hue, say the combo of condensed milk, salt and black coffee creates a creamy mixture that softens the bitterness of the coffee and balances the sweetness of the condensed milk. In Vietnamese, the name “ca phe” means coffee and “muoi” means salt.
