The type of wine you enjoy may reveal a lot about your personality. A 2022 survey found stark differences between people who drink red wine and those who like white. Red wine drinkers were found more likely to be introverts who love to travel and enjoy early mornings. White wine connoisseurs? They’re more likely to consider themselves extroverts and night owls. The poll also found that white wine drinkers tend to be perfectionists, jazz music listeners, prefer cats over dogs, and are more likely to identify as curious and sarcastic individuals. Red wine fans are more likely to be dog lovers — and fans of punk music. They consider themselves adventurous, humble, and organized.

Matt Bomer and Nathan Lane will star in a “Golden Girls”- inspired sitcom. Hulu’s “Mid-Century Modern” will be executive produced by Ryan Murphy, and was created by “Will & Grace’s” Max Mutchnick and David Kohan. Variety reports that Bomer will take on the ditzy ‘Rose’-like character, played by Betty White in Golden Girls, with Lane taking on the ‘Dorothy’ (Bea Arthur)-like character. Linda Lavin will play Lane’s mother, a la ‘Sophia’. No word on a release date yet.
Matthew McConaughey almost left Hollywood for good after being typecast as a “rom-com” actor. The “Failure to Launch” star took 2 years off from the glitz and the glamour when he felt he wasn’t getting enough meaty parts, before returning to star in more dramatic roles like “The Lincoln Lawyer”, “True Detective”, and his Academy Award-winning turn in “The Dallas Buyers Club”. He told actor Glen Powell in Interview magazine: “I’ve usually zigged when I felt like Hollywood wanted me to zag.” He felt that after his “rom-com years”, he “wanted to try some other stuff. Of course I wasn’t getting it, so I had to leave Hollywood for 2 years.” He added: “Dude, it was scary”.

Pakistan says they’ll start cracking down on obese policemen.
The old saying says that music is good for the soul. But recent research suggests that it might actually be good for the heart. University of Belgrade School of Medicine researchers found that listening to music for 30 minutes a day causes people who have suffered from a heart attack to experience significantly less chest pain and anxiety. Over a period of 7 years, patients on music therapy, on average, had an anxiety score that was one-third lower than the score of patients on standard treatment. Music therapy patients also reported 25% less chest-pain – and significantly lower rates of other heart-related illnesses.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the latest in comfy fashion involves jean-printed sweatpants — and not in an ironic way. While I’m sure that a comparison to 1980s jeggings can’t be ignored, the quality from brands like Rag & Bone’s Miramar line makes the fake jeanswear passable, even at the office. Its offerings range in price from $100-$238 for shorts, jeans, and even jackets. The Miramar line has been described as “a super-soft cotton terry that looks like denim, (but) feels nothing like it”. And the fit? One reviewer wrote: “soft, lightweight, moves fluidly, and never clings to my body.”
