According to new research, the perfect movie length is just 92 minutes. A poll of 2,000 adults found that the average person is totally done with 2 and 3-hour blockbusters, and would much rather get in and out of the movie theater in just over an hour-and-a-half. 15% said they prefer a movie that’s 2 hours or longer. And just 2% felt that a movie should be longer than 2½ hours.

Tyra Banks apparently just had her first alcoholic beverage as an adult — and she downed it to ring in the big 5-0. The supermodel says she wanted to be her most authentic self as she celebrated her big birthday in December, and was inspired to try new things. So, she spent her special day enjoying a seaplane adventure with her mom and best friend in Australia, where they enjoyed a meal and an alcoholic beverage. But that doesn’t mean she liked it. Quote: “It wasn’t worth it. I was like, ‘This is nasty!’”
Jerry Seinfeld crashed the “Saturday Night Live” “Weekend Update” segment, and Colin Jost introduced him as “a man who did too much press.” The “Seinfeld” star has been on a press tour promoting his Netflix movie “Unfrosted”, which he directed and stars in. He arrived appearing frazzled at the Update desk, not knowing where he was, and asking if it was a podcast. Seinfeld acknowledged that he couldn’t undo all the press he had done, but wanted to share his wisdom to the star of “The Fall Guy”, saying: “If you are struggling with press, you’re not alone. I’m talking to you Ryan Gosling. When I started doing press for Unfrosted, I was like you—funny, good-looking. Now, look at me. Do you think this is how I wanted to spend my 26th birthday?”

There are a number of things that could contribute to your risk for depression. Among them: family history and environmental stressors. But over the past few years, the effects of diet on depression have attracted considerable attention. And according to a new study reported in Psychology Today, there are 3 main ways that what you eat could affect your chances of suffering from depression. Here they are:
• Those who do not eat meat have a higher incidence or risk of anxiety and depression.
• Low-quality carbohydrates are associated with increased risk of depression.
• Consuming high-quality proteins and carbohydrates, especially at dinner, is associated with a reduced risk of depression. These could include fruits, whole grains, and red vegetables such as beets, radishes, bell peppers, carrots, red onions and tomatoes.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom now has Michelin magic, too. The restaurant, “Victoria & Albert’s” at Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, is the first theme-park eatery ever to earn a Michelin star. The restaurant at the “Happiest Place on Earth” offers 2 menus — a standard bill of fare at $295 and the chef’s tasting menu, which runs $395 per person. Optional wine pairings start at $155. The restaurant also offers water lists, an ornate coffee and tea service and a collection of more than 500 wines from 35 regions.

In Chaparral, New Mexico a woman arrived home from work to find a guy in her kitchen. Tommy Lang was heating up a bowl of soup and stirring up a glass of Nestle Quik when she rushed next door to call the cops. Further investigation revealed he had eaten a lot of the victim’s food, put on a pair of her shoes, ripped up some of her pictures, and re-arranged her toiletries. Furthermore, he claimed he had been dating the woman “since pre-school” and lived with her in the house. The woman told the police she had never seen the man before in her life. Busted! Charged with breaking and entering and destruction of property.

FUNNIEST RACEHORSE NAMES (All real. Really):
• DoReMiFaSaLaTiDo – Tough to say. Tougher for the track announcer in the middle of a race.
• Maythehorsebewithu – Fair to say this horse did have the force. Darth Vader was not his father, it was, in fact, a top-class New Zealand sire.
• Ha Ha Ha – A nightmare for TV commentators to say without looking stupid, the last laugh was actually on those who named him. In a 6-race career, he finished last twice and was pulled up on 2 other occasions.
• Hoof Hearted – Say it quickly.
• Passing Wind – Another of a flatulent nature, you wouldn’t have wanted to be behind him when finishing. It is probably why he won by a ‘distance’ in both of his victories.
• Whykickamoocow – We’re not really sure how this came to light, probably a little bit too much whisky was consumed when filling in the forms. Still, absolutely hilarious when called home.
• Geespot – The naming is superb based on its pedigree. By the sire ‘Pursuit of Love’ and out of the mare ‘My Discovery’, you can only admire the creativity of the naming of this mare. Genius.
• AARRRRRRR – Clearly named on ‘Speak Like A Pirate’ Day. Possibly the only animal able to say his own name.
• Wear The Fox Hat – Say it quickly in an Irish accent, but not at work or school
