Here’s another reason to start planning that mid-winter getaway: 42% of people say they have fallen back in love with a partner after going on vacation together. A survey of 2,000 US adults looked at the magic of vacationing – especially with others – and found that three-quarters of respondents believe vacations are great for those looking to keep the spark alive in their relationship. As you might expect, vacations make the average person feel 65% happier, with more than half agreeing that their world feels “bigger” after coming back (58%). In the survey, conducted by OnePoll for BeachBound, 79% said that traveling with someone is one of the best ways to strengthen your bond, and 64% said they have learned the most about their loved ones while on vacation.

People
who experienced side effects to the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna
Covid-19 vaccines such as fever, chills or muscle pain, tended to
have a greater antibody response following vaccination, according to
new research. Having such symptoms is associated with greater
antibody responses compared with having only pain or rash at the
injection site or no symptoms at all, according to a paper published
in the journal JAMA Network Open. But even though some people may
have experienced subtle symptoms, or even none at all, the vaccine
still elicited robust immune responses in them too. Nearly all study
participants exhibited a positive antibody response after completing
a 2-dose vaccine series.

Really? Another baby for Nick Cannon? “The Masked Singer” host will become a father for the 12th time. Alyssa Scott has announced that she’s pregnant with their second child. Her and Cannon’s son Zen died in 2021 at 5 months old after a battle with a rare form of brain cancer. Scott made the announcement of her pregnancy in an Instagram photo of her baby bump while holding her daughter, Zeela (from a previous relationship), in matching blue ensembles, seemingly hinting she’s having a boy. She captioned the pic: “With you by my side…” Entertainment Tonight says it has confirmed Cannon is the father. He has 10 other children with 5 other women, and another baby on the way.
The ink on Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s divorce papers isn’t even dry yet, but oddsmakers are already taking bets on who they’ll date next — and go figure — Pete Davidson is the favorite to be the supermodel’s next fling. BetOnline made a list of the former power couple’s next potential suitors, giving Davidson the best odds to date Bündchen, at +1200, with Jason Momoa right behind at +1800. Other stars in the running include Leo DiCaprio, John Mayer, Chris Evans and Bradley Cooper — but there’s one guy who would definitely stir the pot if it came true — Brady’s best friend and former teammate, Rob Gronkowski. Brady’s list of potential future flings include, in order of likelihood, Taylor Swift, models Adriana Lima Alessandra Ambrosio, followed by …Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West could be just months from financial catastrophe, says a report. As he is dropped by corporations and condemned by industry figures, sources say that while he has a large stash of cash, he also has huge expenses and could be in trouble soon if he doesn’t find a way to turn the tide. Apparently, he has 5 sources of income, and 4 of them have been either completely shut down or badly compromised by his anti-Semitic outburst and support for white supremacists. In recent years, West has made money from his massive Adidas deal, his Gap deal, his music catalogue, selling new music and concerts. Adidas, the real engine for his enormous wealth, has already said that it will immediately halt payments.
SCOOP OF THE DAY: Brought to you by BetterCreditCards.com
Americans take football so seriously that half of them have actually ended a friendship over a rivalry. A survey of 2,000 football fans examined how respondents celebrate game day, finding that 52% have called it quits with a friend because they support their favorite team’s rival. And when their team loses, it takes an average of 3 days to get over the loss. And as inflation continues to soar, half of football fans plan to “homegate” [tailgating at home] this year.
A determined football (soccer) fan spent 35 hours sitting on every single seat at his team’s 42,000-capacity stadium to raise money for charity. 42-year-old Simon Osborn took 4½ days to complete the mammoth challenge of parking his butt on all 42,785 seats at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Osborn said he was left in “complete agony” following the accomplishment, having spent an average of 2 seconds in each seat while making his way around the Premier League stadium. He was raising money for Aston Villa FC’s Dementia Activity Café. Quote: “I flew through the first 4,000 seats – but then the pain kicked in.”
