An
Ohio man led police officers on a foot pursuit along a busy roadway
on Saturday, fleeing after he saw an officer while he was defecating
in a wooded area outside a fast-food restaurant. The 33-year-old man
said he fled from police in Cambridge, approximately 75 miles east of
Columbus, because he had illegal marijuana with him. He reportedly
told officers he was in the woods “pooping” when he became scared
and ran away. The suspected marijuana in his possession was seized as
evidence. The man is facing single counts of possession of marijuana
and obstructing justice following his arrest under a bridge on
Southgate Parkway near Interstate 70. He was also wanted on a warrant
for failure to appear in court while on bail from an undisclosed
case.

Would
you take a job you hate if the money was right? According
to a new survey, a lot of American workers would leave a job they
like, or even love, for a job they hate … if the price was right.
And how much is the price for misery? An increase of $15,000 a year …
or at least $77,000 a year. (SWNS)

viral memes, has died aged 7. The furry sensation's family announced
her death on Twitter on Friday. "We are unimaginably heartbroken
to announce the loss of our beloved Grumpy Cat," Tabatha
Bundesen, Grumpy Cat's owner, said. "Despite care from top

encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that
unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome. She passed away
peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of
her mommy, Tabatha.

Cicadas Expand and Contract Their Exoskeletons. You know that near-deafening chirp that cicadas create? It’s done by essentially expanding and contracting their exoskeleton really fast, moving their “buckling rib” back and forth about 300 times a second hitting it against something called a “tymbal” which creates a sound like agong hitting hammer. A scientists studying it described it this way: “If your body were like that of a cicada, he explained, you would have a thick set of muscles on either side of your torso that would allow you to cave in your chest so far that all your ribs would buckle inward one at a time into a deformed position. Releasing the muscle would allow your ribs to snap back to their regular shape and then pulling the muscle again would repeat this.”

German police are looking for a rare 1980s Ferrari believed to be worth more than $2.2 million after a man posing as a would-be buyer stole it during a test drive. Police in Duesseldorf said the man answering an advertisement for the red Ferrari 288 GTO, first registered in 1985, turned up for a previously agreed appointment in the western German city on Monday. He and the seller went on a test drive, during which the seller got out of the car to swap places with the would-be buyer. The man got into the driver's seat, hit the gas pedal, and sped off, per the AP. Police said Tuesday that they hadn't been able to find the car and appealed to the public for information.
